CH4 Solutions was founded by our Director, Neville Hutchison in February 2017.
Neville’s vision for the company was to supply professional services to the mining sector on gas drainage.
Neville’s overall philosophy is focused on promoting safe, responsible gas drainage and reducing our environmental footprint.
CH4 Solutions adds value to any contract we undertake and we go out of our way to deliver high quality, flexible and affordable services with a focus on getting the best practical environmental outcomes. Our team provide the planning through to on-ground implementation and this has lead to our strong reputation for providing practical reports and real solutions to gas drainage and environmental challenges.
Neville has over 25 years experience in the mining, Petroleum and Gas Industry. Neville started work in the gas industry back in 1990 whilst working on the natural Gas conversion in Brisbane. From there, Neville moved into the LP Gas sector, supervising and managing LP Gas terminals for Kleenheat Gas and Boral / Origin Energy. Neville then moved into an OH&S role at the Caltex refinery for ALMC before moving into the mining industry. Neville started his mining career at Anglo Dawson Mine as the Safety Adviser, before moving into an Operational Managers role in 2009. From then on Neville has been part of the three Anglo underground management teams until 2017 when Neville launched CH4 Solutions.
CH4 Solutions is engaged by BMA Broadmeadow Mine to provide gas assist with implementing the gas drainage plant and gathering network.
Julie-ann has over 15 year experience in the mining industry. Julie-ann started in the mining industry 2004 holding a number of positions throughout her career including Safety Coordinator, Technical Officer, and Site Administrator.
In these roles, Julie-ann has development excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organising and time management skills, and a committed to high quality in client / customer service. Approachable, caring and a true people person, Julie-Ann’s strong work ethic and positive attitude make her a valuable asset to the CH4 Solutions team.
